Joy Comes In The Morning
Psalm 30:5b and 30:11a
“Weeping may endure a night but joy comes in the morning...You have turned for me my mourning into dancing... ”
During the seasons when I'm feeling like the night time lasts forever, I read these verses and find comfort knowing that the promises of the Lord are true forever. No matter where I'm at in my walk or in the different situations that run through my path, the Lord promises that "joy comes in the morning". Joy is the strength in my heart and will be in yours. It will get you through the dark seasons of the soul, when loneliness and depression try to sweep in taking the joy of your salvation. It will be the strength that keeps you going and will be the comfort of your heart. Seek the Lord and He will give you joy in the times of need and times of victory. In Psalm 16:11 it says "You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever." Sitting in His presence gives you wings to see above the situations that seem so overwhelming. It gives you peace and grace to get through your tough situtations with a supernatural joy from the Holy Spirit. Seek His face and you will find the joy that comes in the morning when you have to endure the night of weeping.

Father God, give me your everlasting joy. Help me seek you in good times and bad and that your joy truly would be my strength. In Jesus' name, Amen.
